![]() If the player has killed innocents on any stage, they will either maintain their rank or will be demoted, although the ranks do not go below Posse. When the game begins, the player's rank is Posse, and after each stage the player will be promoted, provided they have not killed any innocents. The ranks are: Posse, Deputy, Sheriff, Deputy Marshal and U.S. ![]() There are different ranks that the player can attain, depending on how well the player performs. If a player is shot while in possession of one of those acquired weapons, the weapon is lost and the player will return to the six-shooter. The Gatling guns and cannons can each be used only once but the other four weapons can be reloaded the same way as the six-shooter. 50 caliber Sharps, rifles, double rigs, shotguns, Gatling guns, and cannons. Additional weaponry can be found throughout the game that will give the player better firepower. To reload, the player must aim the light gun away from the screen and pull the trigger. The player's gun (a six-shooter) can carry up to six bullets. Just like the original game, a dip switch setting in the arcade version allows operators to let players progress through the stages in a linear fashion ("arcade mode") or select individual stages ("street mode"), including the between level target practice stages. Each stage features a boss that must be killed in order to complete the stage (though a unique case happened in the third stage where the boss battle is in the form of a dueling mini-game). During each stage, the player must shoot the armed outlaws without harming any innocent townsfolk or fellow lawmen. Lethal Enforcers 2 has five stages: "The Bank Robbery", "The Stage-Holdup", "Saloon Showdown", "The Train Robbery", and "The Hide-Out". The game overs when all life units are gone, but continued play is available. Every time the player, an innocent civilian or lawman is shot, one life unit will be lost. ![]() Life units are also awarded based on how many points the player scores while playing the game. In the arcade version, more can be purchased by inserting additional coins. At the beginning of the game, three to five life units are available. I paid like 60 bux for that game, so there is the trade off.In this game, the goal is to shoot outlaws in order to eradicate crime from a stereotypical town in the American West of 1873. Some might cringe at that since an old as heck game gun is so expensive, but let’s compare it to my Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360. If you going to buy this, just go all out and get both the blue and pink justifier light guns (I saw a few on eBay for 70 or 80 bux). Lethal Enforcers 2 is set in an Old West setting wheras the first Lethal Enforcers has a more modern setting. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not impossible I just did not realize the bad guys had masks or bandanas over their faces and the innocent people did not! LOL! So, greatest game ever made. Lethal Enforcers 2 is only a sequal to the orginal in name only. When I first tried it, I had like 7 innocent victims just because it’s hard to tell them apart from the bad guys. But, Lethal Enforcers II has a way better and WAY more changeling main game. Lethal Enforcers II Gun Fighters (SEGA Genesis) Release Date: Format: NTSC-U/C Add to wishlist Publisher: KONAMI Genre: Arcade, Shooter Platform: SEGA Genesis Rating: Teen Used Used Usually ships within 24 hours Price: 16.47 - 29. In my opinion, the "shooting range" in Lethal Enforcers I is better than the main game. I love these two games! Lethal Enforcers I and II are by far the greatest games ever made, just because of the never ending fun. Three difficulty levels help determine the number of lives and continues you have before the game ends. Defeat the boss and you'll get to play one of two bonus rounds, which involve either shooting bottles or squaring off against a desperado to find out who has the fastest draw. Each stage ends with a boss character who will fire projectiles to keep you occupied while avoiding your shots. To receive a promotion, you'll need to be accurate with your shots while avoiding innocent bystanders. Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters also features a promotion system that will have you rising through six ranks, from lowly Posse to U.S. Upgrades may be found inside barrels or behind objects, so keep blasting away at the scenery to reveal them. 50 caliber sharp, and cannon (seven rounds, cannot be reloaded). The six different items include: a rifle, shotgun, Gatling gun (twenty-four rounds, cannot be reloaded), double rig (two pistols). As you shoot down the bad guys, keep an eye on various power-ups to upgrade your weapon. The game is compatible with either the Justifier light gun (also from Konami) or control pad, and supports two players for simultaneous gun slinging action. In this sequel to 1993's Lethal Enforcers, the object is to shoot various outlaws through five digitized stages, each spanning multiple scenes: The Bank Robbery, Stagecoach Holdup, Saloon Showdown, The Train Robbery and The Hideout. Konami's showdown in the Old West makes the leap from the arcades to the Genesis in Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters.
